What is my Personalized URL?
Your personalized ID is the name you select to precede ".HousingTrendseNewsletter.com (i.e. http://xxxxxxx.HousingTrendseNewsletter.com) which is the URL of your enewsletter.

What is my Login ID?
Your Login ID is the same as your Personalized URL which you will use to enter your Administrative Area, http://clients.housingtrendsenewsletter.com
How do I change my Personalized URL i.e. "http://xxxxxxxx.housingtrendsenewsletter.com"?
Email support at housingtrendsenewsletter@frogpond.com with a subject line "Change URL" along with 3 choices of URLs you would like.

How can I change my Login ID?
Your Login ID will automatically be changed if you change your Personalized URL.

  • How do I change my contact information?

    1. Visit http://clients.housingtrendsenewsletter.com
    2. Enter your Login ID and PASSWORD, then click "LOGIN" button
    3. Once logged in, view the left menu called "Control Central"
    4. Under "Your Information" section, click on "Contact Information"
    5. Change any information you wish and click "Modify" button.
    How to I change my password?

    1. Visit http://clients.housingtrendsenewsletter.com
    2. Enter your Login ID and PASSWORD, then click "LOGIN" button
    3. Once logged in, view the left menu called "Control Central"
    4. Under "Your Information" section, click on "Account/Login Info"
    5. Change the password and click the Modify button to save the new password (password must be between 8-12 characters)
    How do I change my name displayed next to my photo?

    2. Enter your Login ID and PASSWORD, then click "LOGIN" button
    3. Once logged in, view the left menu called "Control Central"
    4. Under "Your Information" section, click on "Account/Login Info"
    5. Change the name is the Display Name box and click the Modify button to save the new name
    How do I change my personal photo?

    1. Visit http://clients.housingtrendsenewsletter.com
    2. Enter your Login ID and PASSWORD, then click "LOGIN" button
    3. In the Control Central menu on the left of the screen, click on Photo.
    4. Click the Browse button to locate your saved photo
    5. Click the Modify button to save (Note: The Required photo dimension is 132 x 167 .gif format)


    6. If I make changes to my contact information with my local association/MLS, will that also update my Housing Trends eNewsletter?
      No. The contact database for Housing Trends eNewsletter and for your local association/MLS are separate, so updating one will not update the other.

      Can I change the graphics or other items within the Housing Trends eNewsletter?
      No. You can edit your personal contact information and photo only.



    3. What are Featured Homes, Find a Home, My Website newsletter options?


    Visit My Website
    If you have a website and you would like to allow your clients and prospects to visit your personal website from the "Visit My Website" button on your newsletter, check this option.

    Find a Home
    If you have a link to all MLS listings and you would like to allow your clients and prospects to search homes from the "Find a Home" button on your newsletter, check this option

    Featured Homes
    If you have a link to your listings, your company listings or other listings you would like to allow your clients and prospects to view from the "Featured Homes" button on your newsletter, check this option

    Can I modify buttons displayed on the top of the Housing Trends eNewsletter?
    You may modify Featured Homes, Find a Home and Visit My Website only.

    2. Enter your Login ID and PASSWORD, then click "LOGIN" button
    3. In the Control Central menu on the left of the screen, click on Newsletter Options.
    4. There are 3 options on the page:

    5. 1 - Find a Home - displays the Search ALL MLS in a new window
      2 - Visit my Website - opens your HAR Member Website in a new window
      3 - Featured Homes - opens a new window containing your listings only (categorized by property class)
    6. Check the box to the left of the option you want to appear or un-check those you wish not to display.
    7. Change any LINKS in any of the 3 boxes you wish to change.
    8. Click the Modify button to save
    I don't have listings. How can I remove the Featured Homes button from the Housing Trends eNewsletter?
    1. Visit http://clients.housingtrendsenewsletter.com
    2. Enter your Login ID and PASSWORD, then click "LOGIN" button
    3. In the Control Central menu on the left of the screen, click on Newsletter Options.
    4. Uncheck the "Featured Home" checkbox.
    5. Click the Modify button to save
    I don't have listings. Can I add my Broker's listings to the Housing Trends eNewsletter instead?
    Yes, you may add any link you wish.

    3. In the Control Central menu on the left of the screen, click on Newsletter Options.
    4. Change the URL in the Featured Homes box

    4. What is the Home Evaluator button?


    What is Home Evaluator?

    Anyone viewing your Housing Trends eNewsletter can submit a request for a price evaluation on their home. Once they complete and submit this form, you will receive an email containing their property and contact information. Once you determine the current market value of their home, you may contact them with that information.



    5. What do I need to know about Subscribe and Unsubscribe Emails?


    Am I responsible for Subscribe/Unsubscribe Emails Requests?

    Yes, you are responsible for adding Subscribe and Unsubscribe email address requests from your Housing Trends eNewsletter email database as stated in the Terms of Use.

    How do I manage my client's Subscribe and Unsubscribe requests?

    If someone chooses to unsubscribe, you will receive an email message regarding that. You will then need to remove their email address from your personal contact database and discontinue sending them the Housing Trends eNewsletter. Likewise, if someone subscribes, you will receive an email notification of that and be alerted to add their address to your personal contact database. You understand and agree that you are responsible for adding subscribe and unsubscribe email address requests from your Housing Trends eNewsletter email database.

    Who can subscribe to my Housing Trends eNewsletter?

    Anyone! If someone chooses to Subscribe or Unsubscribe, you will receive an email notification regarding that. You understand and agree that you are responsible for adding subscribe and unsubscribe email address requests from your Housing Trends eNewsletter email database.

    What email address do Subscribe or Unsubscribe Requests to my Housing Trends eNewsletter go to?

    You will select which email address you wish your requests to go to.

    Is the Housing Trends eNewsletter automatically emailed to my clients?
    No, the Housing Trends eNewsletter is not sent directly to your clients and prospects. You create your own contact email list using Outlook or third party services. Follow instructions on how to Email newsletter:

    3. You will see a list of all published Housing Trends eNewsletters

    The information displayed is 2 or more months old when reported by the National Association of Realtors and the U.S. Census Bureau.

    What if I forget my Login ID, Password?
    Go to http://clients.housingtrendsenewsletter.com and click the "Forgot Login ID or Password?" link in the lower left corner. Follow the instruction and your password will be emailed to you at the email address in our system.

    What if I forget what email address was used when I first registered?
    Please email housingtrendsenewsletter@frogpond.com.

    13. What is the cost of Housing Trends eNewsletter?


    Is there a fee to agents to use the eNewsletter?

    No. Like most internet services, it an advertising revenue model.



    16. How to Add My MLS Data to Local Area Market Reports?


    Local Area Market Reports (Monthly) which show local home sales and price activity for an MLS area as well as cities within the MLS area are prepared by the research department of the California Association of REALTORS® in conjunction with Terradatum's Clarus Market Metrics. There is no fee to the MLS to provide such data.

    To have your local information included in the reports, please have your MLS staff go to http://www.mlscloud.com/dispMessage and authorize the report. Its that easy.



    17. How do I change the Local Market Data to display the market I work in?


    Your address is what triggers the market data information. If you would like to change the data to display first, you will need to change your address to that area.

    For example, if an agent's office is in to Virginia, but he works in DC, and wishes DC data to be displayed, he should change his address to DC address. The Local Maket Reports are based on the agent's address.  see FAQ#2, How to change information.



    18. What is the Message Section on Housing Trends eNewsletter?


    The Message Section is where you may personalize your eNewsletter by adding messages (i.e., new listing, just sold, MLS local market press releases, an article about mortgage interest deduction, a video about a neighborhood, etc.) to your eNewsletter.

    Each message may contain one (1) link to an article, press release, website, photo or video, etc. By clicking “more” you will link to the site or video you added to your Message.

    Click the edit button to make any changes to your Messages. You may add messages as often as you wish.

    Your most current Message will display as the first Message on your eNewsletter. Maximum of three (3) Messages will display on front age. Messages are archived in “View All Messages”.

    Before adding a Message you must read, accept and agree to the Message Section Terms of Use.



    19. Should I still send my Housing Trends eNewsletter to my consumers if my local market area information is not published?


    Thanks for signing up for HTEN. I'm am working with MLSs and Terradatum to obtain all local market data. I hope to link to many more local areas within the next 30-60 days. In the meantime, the Messages section displayed at the top of your enewsletter is the perfect place to add your local information. Contact your MLS for this information. Many MLSs provide their members and local papers press releases that you can add and link to. You can also link to video or other web page to expand the local information currently available on HTEN. Let them know to expect more, but never wait. Your competition isn't. Best wishes, thanks again.

    20. My Local Area Market Reports are missing?


    If your local area market data is not displayed, it is due to your MLS not providing the data to Terradatum. The grassroots approach often works best to make this data available. Here's how: Call the MLS CEO and ask if the MLS would agree to release their data to Terradatum who will prepare a monthly local area market report for the MLS at no cost. Provide them with this link to the form he/she must complete and send to Mark Spraetz at mspraetz@terradatum.com or call Mark to inquire at 888-212-4793.     Local Market Report - If your Local Area Market Report is NOT available, select the ALL tab to show "All" Local Area Market Reports which demonstrates you work with Relocation.

    Instructions to Select "ALL" reports to display on Local Market Reports:

    1. Go to http://clients.housingtrendsenewsletter.com
    2. Login. If you forgot your login, click “Forgot Login”
    and it will be emailed to you immediately.
    3. On Control Central menu, select Local Market Report tab
    4. Select ALL or select another State from dropdown widget
    5. Click Submit.
